Sayantan Ghosal’s Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan which is his next thriller movie is releasing on December 6. The film stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Gaurav Chakraborty and Koel Mallick is sure to take viewers on a journey which is filled with exciting adventure and fun. 

Ever since the trailer has released Sayantan has been receiving many applause for the film but this is not first time he has received accolades for his treasure hunt films. But what inspires him to make such films and why he is so much attracted towards adventure films.

In answer to this young Sayantan Ghosal said, “In my childhood days I used to read many detective stories like Feluda, Byomkesh, Kakababu and other stories. And I even viusalied them. I think those stories never left me and they come back in my films repeatedly.”

In addition to this he even said, “I used to keep thinking how to turn those stories into the visual medium. I started making short films since I was studying in class IX. Those were very amateurish productions, made with family and friends.”

Research suggests that this rare compound could also bring about advancements in medical science.
Parambrata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakraborty play Bimal and Kumar and Koel Mallick will be essaying the role of a doctor. The poster looks fun ride and gives a glimpse of film being a treasure hunt thriller.

Bimal and Kumar meet a petrol pump owner Bakashyam Dhar, whose father Radheshyam Dhar was a scientist. Radheshyam was very adventurous and many years back he sited a remote island in the sea of South East Asia, where he discovered a stone, which has a layer of a mythical chemical compound named Red Mercury. Radheshyam's research suggested that this chemical could be a very effective substitute to the gradually exhausting fossil fuel.

Bimal and Kumar begin their quest for this chemical. In this venture Bimal comes across a doctor, Rubi Chatterjee. Rubi is also in search of the same mythical compound which is necessary to save the
life of a child. Will they succeed in their hunt?
